Wyoming Residency Requirement
According to the Wyoming Divorce Laws and Wyoming Divorce Guidelines, to get divorced in Wyoming, the spouse filing the case:
(1) must have been a resident of the state for 60 days immediately prior to filing, or
(2) the marriage must have been performed in Wyoming and the spouse filing for divorce must have resided in Wyoming from the time of the marriage to the time of the filing.

Time To Divorce
There is a waiting period of 20 days after filing the Wyoming Divorce Forms and Wyoming Divorce Papers before a divorce will be granted

Place of Divorce (Venue)
The case may be filed in: County where either spouse resides

Wyoming Grounds for Divorce

Grounds for a No-Fault divorce:
(1) Irreconcilable differences

Grounds for a Fault based divorce:
(1) Confinement for incurable insanity for 2 years

An Agreed Divorce , defined by Wyoming divorce guidelines and Wyoming divorce laws, is a scenario where the spouses agree on the terms of the divorce such as Wyoming property distribution, Wyoming child support, or Wyoming child custody.

A Default Divorce , according to the Wyoming divorce guidelines and Wyoming divorce laws, is a divorce where the other spouse doesn’t sign the Wyoming Divorce forms or Wyoming divorce papers, he/she doesn’t do anything at all with the divorce.
